Since its foundation, Cement Design has shown its commitment to leaving a positive footprint in the social, environmental and economic fields, betting on a business policy focused on solidarity and caring for the environment.
The sustainable spirit of Cement Design materializes in an activity especially focused on caring for the environment, optimizing production systems and reducing energy consumption, transport and waste to the maximum. Likewise, the brand focuses its production on water-based and sustainable materials, its application being totally handmade, which is equivalent to an eco friendly work and free of debris.
Solidarity and social cohesion are other key pieces in Cement Design’s business philosophy. In line with these principles, the Spanish company with an international presence carries out social integration activities. In this context, it stands out its collaboration with the Juan XIII Roncalli Foundation and the Amás Group through creative workshops in favor of the integration of people with intellectual disabilities. The company has made various donations in favor of social integration centers, including the Jesús de la Buena Esperanza Children’s Farm in the city of Pereira (Colombia).
Within the framework of Covid-19, Cement Design has shown its involvement in the fight against the pandemic through donations of textile material for the manufacture of face masks for the Gómez Ulla Hospital in Madrid. In collaboration with the Instituto Superior de Formación Profesional Sanitaria Claudio Galiano and the television presenter and comedian Paz Padilla, the coatings firm has joined this global emergency, being included in the list of ‘Solidarity Brands’.
